Access keys are keyboard shortcuts that allows users to immediately jump to another web page or a specific part of a web page within a site.
Activating access keys varies between web browsers and operating systems. In Internet Explorer, these keys are activated by hitting the Alt button and the access key at the same time, while in Firefox the Alt and Shift keys are hit incombination with the access key. On a Mac, the access keys are activated by the Control key hit inconjuction with the access key regardless of browser. The access keys for this site are:

This site uses skip links to improve mouseless browsing. Skip links are links to another part of the page that allow visitors to navigate around a web document without having to cycle through a huge list of links. This site's skip links are not visible unless they are activated by keyboard navigation. Skip links can be seen when tabbing through the page and can be activated by hitting enter key when visible.
